This October, we are excited to be bringing back our annual Foundation for the Future – an event that grows our connections in the community and raises support from community advocates, stewards, and donors. Our goal is to raise $100,000 to remove barriers for GRPS scholars to participate in sports, STEM, environmental field trips, arts, and music. These enrichment activities allow GRPS scholars to discover their gifts, talents, and passions above and beyond the classroom environment. Given the generosity we have seen from donors at this warm and engaging event in the past, we are confident that we will exceed our objective.
Foundation for the Future brings supporters like yourself together with students and staff members from GRPS to learn more about the Foundation, the programs we support, and the impact your donation makes for the 14,000 children attending GRPS.
Our 2023 event will be held at Frederik Meijer Gardens & Sculpture Park on October 12 and we are seeking 40 friends to host/captain a table to help bring 400 people together to learn about our mission.
Would you like to be an instrumental part of the 2023 event by joining us as one of our table hosts on behalf of the GRPS Foundation?
As a table host, your role will be to ask others to attend as your guest – not to ask them for money. Our hope is that guests will be inspired to give after hearing stories of impact from GRPS students and staff. No one is required to make a donation and there is no minimum gift level. We want to share our story and where the Foundation is going in the next year and the impact, we will be making for GRPS kids!
