CA Frost Environmental Science Middle High School Launches Engaging “Club Day”

CA Frost Environmental Science Academy, catering to students in grades 6 through 12, recently celebrated its inaugural “Club Day,” a creative initiative spearheaded by Principal Brad Lundvick. With generous support from the Teresa Weatherall Neal Principal’s Fund, Lundvick envisioned a vibrant program that would foster community and engagement among students.

On this special day, staff members from CA Frost contributed by leading 21 different clubs that reflected a variety of student interests, making it a true celebration of creativity and camaraderie. Approximately 320 GRPS students were offered to participate in a diverse range of activities including Art & Painting, Lego building, Pickleball, and Chess. Grade levels were mixed and allowed for some great interactions and culture within the building.

The primary goals of Club Day were to enhance students’ sense of belonging and to cultivate a positive school culture. The enthusiastic turnout demonstrated the program’s success in engaging students and significantly boosting school attendance.
With such a successful launch, Club Day promises to become a cherished tradition at CA Frost Academy, inspiring students to explore new interests and build lasting connections within their school community. They plan to continue holding club days two times per month for the rest of the school year!
