Grand Rapids Public Schools Foundation Honor Society and Honor Roll
It isn’t news anymore- too many Michigan children live in poverty. In Grand Rapids Public Schools, over 86% of students qualify for free or reduced price lunch and 5% are homeless. Imagine you are a parent, struggling to provide even the basic needs of daily life. You want the same things for your children that we all want- and an excellent education is at the top of the list.
Add to that, school districts face budget constraints and can’t alone provide access to all the opportunities and experiences that help children to learn, develop and thrive. Together, we can support literacy, foster creative learning, encourage active, healthy lifestyles and so much more.
HONOR SOCIETY
The Honor Society is a group of individuals and families, who make a significant investment in the Grand Rapids Public Schools Foundation and the students of Grand Rapids Public Schools during the Foundation’s fiscal year.
HONOR ROLL
Honor Roll members are companies, foundations, or other community organizations, who make a significant investment in the Grand Rapids Public Schools Foundation.
